Privacy Policy

Stems (“Stems,” “we,” “us”) operates the website sendstems.io and the Stems iOS application (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign up (via Google, Apple, or email) we collect your name, email address, and profile photo where provided, plus a username and page details you set.
  • Content. Audio you upload or receive (beats and stems), messages you send, and metadata such as track names, BPM, and key.
  • Optional integrations. If you connect Gmail or Dropbox to import beats, we access only what is needed to import files you authorize.
  • Usage & device data. Log data and product-analytics events (for example page views and plays) used to operate and improve the Service.
  • Notifications. If you enable push notifications, we store a device push token to deliver them.

How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Deliver beats, packs, and messages to the people you choose to share them with.
  • Send notifications and transactional emails you've opted into.
  • Process subscriptions and payments.
  • Keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.

Service providers

We share information with vendors who process it on our behalf, only as needed to run the Service: Google Firebase (authentication), Supabase (database and file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Replicate (audio analysis), and Vercel (hosting). We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing you initiate

When you send a pack or a share link, the beats and information in it become accessible to the recipients you choose. You can revoke a recipient's link at any time.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. This deletes your login and personal data and anonymizes content you shared with others. You may also email us at team@sendstems.io to request deletion.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
